Franklin Square Elementary Middle School scholar is illustrating the importance of turning off all lights when not in use. Every classroom has a commitment to have a designee that turns off the lights when they are the last one out of the room. Every staff member turns off their lights at the end of the school day.

TREE PLANTING: [October 2014]
Our scholars participated in a tree planting on October 29, 2014. The scholars learned the full process of how to remove and plant trees. They learned what proper equipment is needed. They learned about the importance of trees to our environment, for oxygen, pollen, vegetation and for shading to help with cooling of outdoor spaces.
